After over 4 decades in the planning, Springfield’s Bob Straub Parkway is nearing completion and will be open to traffic this fall. This $8.5 million, 2.5 mile three lane facility will provide direct connection from Main Street to Jasper Road in east Springfield. The presentation will cover the following issues as they relate to the project:

  • Project Background and Goals
  • Project Stakeholders
  • Overview of the Scope, Schedule and Budget
  • Planning and Design Challenges
  • Construction Challenges
